Why Choose veX?

veX is built specifically for financial NFTs: not collectibles, not art, not PFPs. Every feature is designed around trading tokenized DeFi positions: non-custodial listings, multi-protocol support, and flexible payments.

Here's how it compares.

Feature Comparison

As of August 2026, from each platform's published documentation and app; HyperWarp's fees verified on-chain (buyers pay the listed price plus 1.5%, sellers receive it minus 1.5%).

Where veX Stands Out

Zap: Pay with Tokens You Already Hold

Most marketplaces limit you to a handful of payment tokens. veX's Zap feature, powered by SoulZap, lets buyers pay with other tokens in their wallet; the swap and purchase execute in one transaction. No need to pre-swap.

Multi-Protocol, Multi-Chain

veX supports 10 protocols across Base, BNB Chain, Linea, HyperEVM, Ethereum, and Robinhood Chain. Compare opportunities across ecosystems and find the best risk/reward, which single-protocol marketplaces can't offer.

Supported: Aerodrome, Hydrex, Thena, Lynex, Apebond, Kittenswap, Hybra, Nest Exchange, Supernova, UP33.

Built for Financial NFTs

General NFT marketplaces treat veNFTs like any other NFT. veX surfaces the data that actually matters (locked value, lock expiry, discount percentage, voting power) so you can make informed decisions.

Low, Transparent Fees

veX charges a seller fee of 0.5–2.5%, set per protocol by partnership tier. That's competitive with or lower than alternatives, and significantly below general NFT marketplaces (2–5%). Zero buyer fees.

Where Competitors Are Stronger

Vexy

Vexy is purpose-built for Aerodrome and Velodrome. They have features veX doesn't yet:

  • Dutch auctions: sellers set a price that decreases over time
  • Global offers: buyers can bid on any qualifying veNFT (e.g., "any veAERO at 20% discount"), giving sellers instant liquidity
  • Listing aggregation: aggregates veAERO listings from multiple sources
  • Deeper Aerodrome liquidity: more active listings and volume on Aerodrome specifically

Choose Vexy if: you only trade Aerodrome/Velodrome and want the deepest single-protocol liquidity.

Choose veX if: you trade across multiple protocols, want Zap flexibility, or need cross-chain access.

HyperWarp

HyperWarp is focused exclusively on HyperEVM protocols (Kittenswap, Hybra, Nest).

  • Dutch auctions: available for HyperEVM veNFTs
  • HyperEVM-native: purpose-built for the Hyperliquid ecosystem

veX supports the same HyperEVM protocols with additional cross-chain access and zero buyer fees. The headline rate is the same 1.5%, but veX charges it once, from the seller only; HyperWarp charges 1.5% to the buyer and 1.5% to the seller, about 3% of the listed price per trade.

OpenX

OpenX was an early multi-chain veNFT marketplace supporting 5 chains. However, the platform is largely inactive: listings are outdated, several protocol pages are no longer functional, and the app has not been maintained. It's included here for historical context.

Fees

0.5–2.5% seller fee on successful sale (set per protocol). Zero buyer fees. Free to list, update, and delist (gas only).
