Kittenswap (veKITTEN)

Kittenswap is a community-owned ve(3,3) DEX on HyperEVM with no VC backing. veKITTEN holders govern emissions and earn swap fees, bribes, and gauge voting rewards.

What is veKITTEN?

Lock KITTEN tokens to receive a veKITTEN NFT representing your locked position. This grants:

  • Voting power to direct KITTEN emissions to liquidity pools
  • 100% of swap fees from pools you vote for
  • Partner bribes from protocols seeking liquidity
  • Gauge voting rewards for active participation

Lock periods range from 1 week to 2 years. Voting power decays linearly toward the lock end date.

What Makes Kittenswap Different

  • Community-owned — No VC backing; 35% of supply was airdropped to the community, aligning incentives with actual users
  • Kitten Cartel bribe program — Structured bribe program that creates consistent incentives for veKITTEN voters
  • HyperEVM native — Built for the Hyperliquid ecosystem, benefiting from HyperEVM's growing DeFi activity
  • Fair launch ethos — Community-first distribution with transparent governance

Things to Know

HyperEVM is early. Kittenswap is building on HyperEVM as the ecosystem matures. Early positions may benefit from ecosystem growth, but liquidity is still developing.

Community governance is active. Kittenswap's no-VC model means governance decisions are driven by the community. Active participation in voting and governance discussions can influence protocol direction.

Rebases transfer with the NFT. Unclaimed rebases come with the position when purchased — factor this into your valuation.

Active management required. Weekly voting maximizes returns from fees and bribes. Missing epochs means missing rewards.

Delist Before Merging

If you merge a listed veKITTEN with another position, the listing stays active at the original price but now includes the combined amount. Always delist first, then merge, then relist.
